I hate dual words, you know like brangelina? its like the two people no longer have their own identity and are now some sort of new creature.

I also hate what magazines and papers have started doing to words. I guess you could call it double-speak because they are mashing two words together to form a new way of describing something and it makes me feel sick to the stomach. For example when they describe someone good looking they say something like 'SexyGood'. It makes me cringe :(

And finally a collection of words i can only describe as skat words. Like skat singers would use, bebop duwop de bop skebopdewop ting tang and walla walla bingbang. All of these words actually make me feel physically repulsed, and when put to music i feel like puking.

I have no idea why

Bang on trend? Never heard that one lol.

I don't like the word moist. And seppy. (A term that my best friend came up with for a septum piercing) and any word with pus in it or relating to pus makes my skin crawl >_<

I'm pretty relaxed about most words except "really?" like used in that passive aggressive way that actually means "my god a mentally stunted cabbage wouldn't come out with what you just said".

my least favorite euphemism for ladybits is gash. ewwww
Fanny is the only one recognized in the US and I think it's funny when someone says it. Because it is likely an older person trying to be polite about a butt.

One of my least favorites is supposedly- but only because of the way it is often mispronounced: Supposubly  STOP SAYING IT WITH A B YOU SOUND LIKE A MENTALLY-CHALLENGED MUTANT WITH A SPEECH IMPEDIMENT!

Also, for the same reason- Valentine- because people here like to pronounce it valentimes. ~rage~

Oh! And when people say they have an ideal instead of an idea. :x

So, mostly just mispronounced/misused words.

I really dislike many words. Moist, discharge, things like that. I can at least tolerate those words, they're however, two words or titles, that I really hate. One is 'Grape Nuts', I feel sick just thinking about them. It has to be the most revolting cereal EVER! > The other horrible word is 'smegma'. I know it's a natural thing but it's just a dreadful word. It's just very gross. Oh dear, I've made myself feel very nauseous..

a few years ago when i was in a shop i heard a woman calling out laflangela, i then realised she was calling her little girl, i was like omg, im all for calling kids what you want but to me that is a horrid word about womens bits, so she may get some grief when shes older,
and i hate the word nosh

panties

I know in US it has a more normal meaning, but here in UK it just makes me think of dirty seedy old mean with used teenage girls' knickers - ew!

As for quayside, I believe "quay" may have some french etymology.

DANK! Not because of what it means (similar to moist) but because somehow its a slang word for awesome here. WTF? And people use it and don't even know what it really means, I had one girl be like "It means awesome dumbass, look it up in the dictionary"  I wanted to laugh/slit her throat at the same time. I'm pretty sure that some thing that is "Disagreeably damp, musty, and typically cold" is not awesome.

HAHAHA, Dank....
We have energy drinks at my work that are called Dank, so I see the word everyday.

My boyfriend likes to say BANGIN, all the time. He has a funny way of saying things that makes everyone that spends time with him catch on, then they're all saying it! It's kind of ridiculous actually.

Whenever I hear the word fanny, it reminds me of a "fanny pack" and those things are horrible!! And there's only certain types of people who wear them.

Hangin'. As in "Ugh, 100% hangin'" to mean "Ugh, hungover". Sounds stupid.

Not so much a word, but when people say "I could care less".

Mucus.

I know someone who hates the words "Loins" and "Moist". You can guess what generally tends to happen.

"Moist.....Loins"
"MOIST.......LOINS"
"Moooiiiist.......Looooiiiiins"
"MOISTLOINS!"
"moistloinsmoistloinsmoistloins"

Ok that's starting to sound really weird in my head.

I dislike the word 'blinging'... And 'babe' or someone calling their partner 'baby' all the time... I also don't like 'hunny' but don't mind it when it's spelt 'honey'. I'm cool like that!

Policy.

It's a disgusting word. I'm still in high school so it comes up a lot and it just drives me nuts. In my head I don't see "policy" I see "Restrictions and endless set of rules that don't do anything but bore you to death or make your life much much harder than it's about to be with this upcoming MASSIVE LOAD OF HOMEWORK". I absolutely hate it.

That and "Senator"... don't know why. I just hate it since the first X-Men movie came out.
For lack of a better word, Squack.

i HATE 'babe'!!!!
my ex used to call me babe and i would drive me to insanity
the problem is, around the Liverpool/Merseyside area, babe is just another way to address a girl, a bit like chick or doll, and i get called it every day in work by customers

"thanks babe"
"aww, yes please babe"

URGH, NO!!!! especially because the scouse accent pronounces it 'baybe' so its longer and more drawn out with maximum emphasis on the 'y' which isnt even in the word!

ive also developed a severe hatred for the word 'selection'
i dont know what it is, i just hate the way it sounds
