The Happy Thread :)

Post by Opiate » Sat Mar 26, 2011 9:26 am

Sooo we've got a rant thread, and a what's grinding your gears thread, but no happy thread! (at least none that I could find)

So..... what's making you happy right now? Could be a song, a good night out, something a friend said, looking fab, absolutely anything!

^__^ What are you studying in college?

My happy today is the strawberry and lime cider I'm drinking, and buying a new bra without trying it on, only to come home for it to fit perfectly and look fantastic on :D

Also, Contact High by Architecture in Helsinki

Stolen pieces of wedding cake is what is making me happy today :D

One of the perks of playing at a wedding is cake on tap, they even had ice sponge cake too  awesome.

Also making me happy today, the groom asked us to 'enter sandman' lastnight. So we did!
Metallica at a wedding was probably the best thing ive ever done! the crowd loved it, they were dancing on tables and moshing on chairs. Probably the first time thats EVER happened in the posh wedding venue that is rushpool hall
The show must go on. Inside my heart is breaking, my makeup may be flaking but my smile still stays on.

I'm really happy because I got a job at cineworld! I know a lot of people don't like the whole faceless corporation thing, but I love it! You're pay is looked after, you don't have too much responsibility and supervisors don't expect much from you in the first place! And free films!

I'm also happy because I have a Saturday night off for the first time in like a year (stupid bar job), and am dressing up/ going out with lots of pals!

Yeah! My first shift is on Monday. Tbh I don't know how I got it, I hardly know anything about films! But I do have loads of experience with face to face customer service and food.

There's always some ARSE that has to go and spoil it.. It's just an excuse to wreck everything and commit crimes that they think they'll get away with. This should be in the rant thread! lol

Having a big cuddle with both my girls after a hard day at work makes me smile. And the smell of roast chicken cooking in my oven... (and chocolate... )

not all of them are ruining it, the police have known it was going to happen for a long time they've been shutting down the resist26 websites. i think they are getting more media coverage than the tuc march, i REALLY hope my friends aren't the ones smashing windows and throwing the missiles though. i'd be really dissapointed if they were. im all for free speech but the violence just isn't needed.
