Well the ones I want are on ebay so I'd be getting the real thing (I hope!) for a good bit cheaper. They are about £400, which isn't bad at all.

if you are buying from ebay-ask to see pics of your dress-dont let them fob u off with stock photos. Lots of brides have fallen into this trap-the seller states it is a new dress-what actually arrives is something that has clearly been used.

Wow! I don't think thats possible here, but I think we're having registry office + party after :D
That's very impressive indeed :) I do understand a bit on how you cut the costs, but still, very impressive! :D

Our wedding is now at a total of 4k euro's. The location where we're going to have our reception/party/dinner is also around 4k euro's for the evening, so our total wil be around 8k after we said ' yes I do '. Expensive words

I actually asked her to take pictures of the dress and she did, including the tags etc. Was a bit worried when she didn't have any pictures of the actual dress but she seemed to understand and put up 6 more pictures =)

Does anyone know where you can get medieval style wedding gowns that aren't tacky or velvet? :(

I'm debating whether to get a tiara or not...what do you ladies think. It will only be something simple and subtle, not a Jordan crown or anything!

I'm trying to work out exactly how I'll be having my hair...it's hard to imagine without the dreads being in...I'm going to put them in a few days before so I can have time to mess about with them :)

EDIT - yeah something like that would be perfect...love the bouquet by the way :)

Thanks :D It cost me a fortune!! (worth it) I had it for years afterwards too, it lived on top of my kitchen cupboards, but when we moved it was too dry & brittle to take with us.

I ordered it before I knew I was pg. but covered the little bump well :D

You can see my own made button holes too :D I made a biiiig one for my bridesmaid, she attached it to the bag she was carrying :D

I don't care at all - my Mum was 16 and 8 months pregnant when she got married and she looks beautiful in her pictures :D

My dress is a maternity dress anyway so it can accommodate me
