I think I've gushed over these plenty on Facebook, but just to gush a little here [ick] I LOVE THESE SO MUCH!!!!
I meant a figurative nun, but even still, I would punch ALL the figurative nuns for literal tentacle dreads.poxabomination wrote:kitcupcake wrote:In that last picture, your wrappies look like tentacles! I would punch a nun to have tentacles on my head!

I mean, I can't pull them apart easily but I'm still not 100% happy with them.
Thanks you
Yes, I did actually try my felting needle but.. I may have gotten all my needles wet without realizing and they're all rusted now so I don't think its worked as well as it should have :s probably time to buy some new ones.toxic trish wrote:have you thought about using felting needle to make them stick that bit more ? xpoxabomination wrote:Yes, I did backcomb them apart and then together, but I am having trouble getting the two colors to "stick"toxic trish wrote:they look really nice my only thing would be that your candy-canes look separate did you backcomb them a little together (personal preference)?? xTowards the end I started getting the hang of it but not as well as I would have liked. I would actually really love to make some again, maybe we can do a trade eventually or I can do that thing where.. someone pays for materials and junk? I'd much rather get the hair with my own money though, I don't think I'm ready for the responsibility of having someone else's moneyGoffy_lucc wrote: Julia. Can I pretend to hate you?
Because these are amazing and you put my dreads to shame :/
The wrappy sides are amazing. I am going to make you make me a set of wrappy dreads. MAKE YOU.
SHOW OFF. I demand it.
WHAT. YES.poxabomination wrote: I would actually really love to make some again, maybe we can do a trade eventually or I can do that thing where.. someone pays for materials and junk? It will definitely be AFTER I install and wear these for at least one good run. They look ok, and they SEEM good/well made, but I couldn't let someone pay for them in good conscience unless I KNOW for a fact that they'll hold up. I will let you know right away though!kitcupcake wrote:WHAT. Let me know when you do this. It bears repeating -- I want those tentacle wrappies!
kitcupcake wrote:Oh, for sure! Though I might have to pester you to attach them to a wig for me, since my hair's only half an inch long right now hahah. But since they're not going to be slept on or showered in, they chould theoretically last forever!
