Oh hai thar!
So I want my next set to be skinny, and natural looking. More into the texture/knotty/crocheted maturals rather than the fluffy ones that are just backcombed. But also want to have the odd wrappy one thrown in for good measure
So here are my first experiments:
I was quite impressed with the wrappy one, much easier than I thought I would be. Just needs to be a bit neater, mostly I think I rushed the backcombing cuz I wanted to have a go at wrappiness! Haha
The natural one well first I backcombed it, palmrolled it and steamed it. Was way too poofy, so I attacked it with a crochet needle, to no avail. Though it did tighten it a bit. Does anyone know of a video tutorial for crochet naturals?
So anyway, then I got annoyed with it and pulled it apart into 3 strands and braided it then backcombed the ends together and sealed with wet rag and irons.
And I like it now...all skuzzy and bumpy. But I think a whole head of them might be a bit...rat taily? Opinions? Advice? Hit me. I'll shut up now. x

Looking good! I really like the skinny natural. I tried to make skinny naturals and failed miserably.

I agree with liking the thin, knotty, natural one. Don't see too many thin, knotty naturals about.

I'd quite like to see a video too for crocheted naturals. I plan on starting those soon so if I find a video then I will post it here for you too. I love the wrappy one and you can trim off all the fuzzies with clippers or scissors.. just be careful not to cut into the dread. I've made that mistake and so much hair poofed out. ><
