Foam Install Tutorial?

I am sure there used to be a couple of these floating around the old board but I am buggered if I can find one. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent tutorial for installing foam? I am looking for the method that I think uses a hole punched and some rexlace to tie around the base of the foam strips. I could have completely made that up though...

I know which tutorial you're talking about. Here's how to do it:

- Punch holes in the top of your strips of foam
- Tie rexlace through the holes
- Then braid your hair down the rexlace

How do you get foam to like, lie down correctly with dreads? What's it like to sleep on. I want to do a Faux-Roving/Foam install in honor of my boys, the Saints. I thought it would be cool to get black foam and paint gold Fleur De Lis on it for extra pop. But will the foam "go along" with the Faux-Roving? Any help is appreciated.

I think it would be kind of like gluing in wefts, i.e. you have to pick one style and install the hair according to that so it's all laying in the right direction.
