I amd really wanting to learn how to make cyberlox for myself. I tried before but my problem is attaching the material to the elastic ribbion without it looking terribal.
this question is for the professional cyberlox markers out there, how do you attach material to the base to make it look nice and not messy?
do you have any pictures or video tutorials? I learn better with visual.

I have attached them in varying ways before. I have done the slip knot on itself method. I have also folded them in half and wrapped the top with a rubber band, making a small loop of crin at the top to slide the elastic through. I have also on occasion just tied them on like you would a shoelace.
Out of all of these methods, I personally perfer using the rubber bands to create a loop. I feel you can fit more crin on each layer this way, and have a bit more control over how the pieces lay once the falls are on.
I hope this makes sense! I'm sorry I don't have any pics!

I bunch a few together and tie with Rexlace. I then use the Rexlace hanging from the bunch to tie it onto a hair tie.
Try this tut.

Hi Shay
For the cyberlox, slipknot method works best for me on triple elastics, makes for an easy install. Just be sure that your base does not get wider then 1 .5"-2", and tie on top of the first layer you tie on, helps give them some height when you put them on.
For the tubing - you can sew though the plastic right into the cyberlox base, or use rubber bands or cable ties. If you do use tubing, I recommend upgrading to mounting the falls on wide flat elastic.
Hope that helps!
