Starting a dreadlock wig??

Hi!! So I'm considering making a dreadlock wig, since I'm shaving my head soon and I'm gonna buy a ton of wigs! However, there's not very many (or helpful) videos on youtube on how to make a syntethic dreadlock wig. I think I got the jest of it, get a wig that's kanekalon/dread it/sew on more dreads if too thin looking

But obviously that could be wrong, and there's probably so much more to learn! Does anybody have any tips?
