Is this a wig of real hair?

Post by Arrielle » Sat Mar 10, 2012 7:23 pm

So I know I read in a different thread that some wig sellers will post pictures of actual hair or hair extensions in the place of a wig, and if that's the case I am certainly not shelling out 90 bucks for a wig that looks nothing like I thought it would...
BUT
If this is how the wig ACTUALLY looks... I need to have it!!

So I thought I'd ask the experts and see what the census is. :3

Wig or hair?

It's hard to say without seeing the top. It could easily be a wig.

Absolutely agreed with what is said above.

The fact that the top and parting is cut off suggests that it is a wig and that the top gives it away, but I'm naturally quite suspicious. Do you have the company name and the wig code/name so you can do a bit of google-digging?
What, that? It's a spade.

to me, it also looks like it could be real hair with some extensions.

eta: the reason i think it's possible they're extentions is because the top half of the hair looks nice a silky like real hair and then the bottom looks kinky and rough like HH clip ins or weft can get after a while.

That's the ebay seller, but I emailed and asked for a picture of the wig's part but all they said was that it looks really natural but they don't have any pictures. They don't have a whole lot of positive feedback either so I ended up not ordering it. ; - ;

honestly after looking at their selling items it looks like they stole images of "scene" girls off google.

wow. yes. some of the photos look vaguely familiar, possibly from other hair groups and forums. I'd steer real clear.

Well her hair is super thick, and usually red heads have the thinnest hair. But since it obviously isn't her real hair color it makes it hard to tell if its a wig or hair extensions (added for length and volume of course)

I can see how it would be a wig though, its a very beautiful picture...and it would be lovely if it was her real hair...
