Re: Synthetic wig
There is wig spray that is formulated to work with synthetic hair that might be able to calm things down.
Also, you can wash the wig and then set it [while still damp] in the style that you desire.

Re: Synthetic wig
Boiling water or steam might work. The effectiveness will depend on the fiber, though. Some of those cheap Halloween wigs can be pretty stubborn

Re: Synthetic wig
I got it straight and under more control but when dry it's still really poofy lol. I've tried to style it with little mini side pig tail kinda things but it just looks silly when i put it on.
I know if i try to dread it, that it won't seal at all. I haven't tried but i've read that online.
Kinda starting to think it's a lost cause.

Re: Synthetic wig
why don't you add KK hair to the wig base? you can dread it with the wig hair and it'll just make the dreads alittle poofy. or you can just cut all the hair off and sew dreads on..

Re: Synthetic wig
I started Wrapping some chucks of hair with yarn and adding rexlace. I might also make some SEs and sew them on as well. I hope it turns out. ^^

Re: Synthetic wig
I just posted a dread wig in the showoff section that was made from a cheapish non-KK party wig. I got the wig hair to twist in with the dread hair by using a felting needle. It worked pretty well.
