how much wool for a full install??

I've been wondering about that.. It would be pretty amazing to know before I buy truckloads of snuggle-fluff (lol)

It depends on what wool you're referring too. roving, colinette, or other. Roving depends on whether you split the wool before felting, length of dread etc.

500g for a full head- roughly- depending on your head and how thick and dense you want your roving :)

Yeps, I'd say 500g too. It'll do a full set of long skinnies or medium length chunkies :D

What about collinette?
For a full head install how much should i buy
one 'bunch' on colinette is like £5.50

I know DreadstarMonstars used about 2 skeins of Colinette One Zero on herself, but she has a high undercut. So with no undercut, maybe 3 skeins should do it. I'm getting 2 skeins and will simply "make do" with that.

I won't have mine for at least a month, maybe more--in fact, I don't even know IF I'll have it. That's just what I'm counting on. One factor involved is how long you cut the pieces. DreadstarMonstar cut them between 16 and 20 inches folded, so 32 to 40 inches unfolded. I plan to do 10-12 inches folded, so 20-24 unfolded. Thereby I'll use less yarn.
