Jacquard iDye For Wool?
So I was at JoAnns today, and saw that they carry the Jacquard iDye.
It comes in SUPER bright colors, including UV Fluroescent yellow, (which i HAD to get ) and is super cheap. I read the instructions, and its made for natural fabrics including wool, but apparently its made for washingmachine? I don't know why it wouldn't work with regular boiling water though. Each packet is for 2-4 pounds of fabric, so thats perfect size for a big bundle of wool.
I need to get some white wool to see if it works, but has anyone tried this dye?
I know acid dyes work better with wool, but its harder to find BRIGHT acid dyes.

I'm very excited!
I'm not sure how UV or fluoro the dye is.
But I just won a pound of Merino wool, so I'm gonna test the UV idye.
I will definitely post pictures!
They even make a color remover, and a sun blocker, which apparently adds a UV protect to fabric/fibers. So I guess you could make your hair UV protective and prevent UV rays from getting on your head!

Squuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeee... they sell these on amazon...
I am very excited to find out if they work as the current acid dye I am using is 50p more expensive for 10g's less... and obviously the fact that they do neon yellow is such a bonus.
Any luck yet?

Woot!
I just got the pound of wool today!
I didn't realize it, but a pound is ALOT of wool!
And yes, the iDye is VERY cheap! I got the packets for about 3 dollars each, and each package is MORE than enough to dye a pound of wool!
I'm kinda scared to dye the wool, but I'm gonna try little bits and see how it turns out!
I will take process pictures for you Squidgy! I hope it turns out well! Otherwise, I'm gonna ruin a bunch of really nice merino wool! I'm gonna follow the dying guides on here though.
