Where to buy roving? UK

Post by coma_dream » Fri Jan 09, 2009 7:58 am

Can't seem to find it in the shops section , and i've had a look through posts etc,
but where does everyone buy their roving from?
I've bought mine from ebay in the past, but wonder if there is anywhere else which has a wider range of colours and weights?
I'm happy buying outside the UK if it works out cheaper.
Sorry if i'm being dippy and missed it somewhere. :D
Thanks. xx

Hi there..

Sara fom Sara's Textures Crafts is brilliant.. she has a wide range of colours at great prices.
Her communication is unbeatable and she is willing to help with whatever she can.
One reason i think she is so great at what she does is beacuse she is so passionate about wool and textures,

Check her out for yourselves to see what you think. xxx

Yes yes Sara is ace.. just a heads up.. she is moving in the next few weeks, and will be trading until around the 10th May, after that she might take a little while to get the orders in, so if you are looking to order soon, try and get in before she packs up!!

I second worldofwool.co.uk They are really helpful and deliver mega quick. They seemed to be cheapest too which is a bonus! you get 6/7m in a bag (I'm rubbish at going by weights!)

EDIT:: Mega old thread! only just realised.. oops
