Braiding.

I don't think they're is. WoolHairHabit on here does her's with box braids, but they're a bit fiddly to master.
I suppose what you could do is braid them in & then wrap some wool round the braid. That'd be pricey using point 5 though & imo, unnecessary.

I did mine using normal braids, I used One Zero though, not point 5 (one zero is thinner) it took me 8 hours.

Here's mine:

I bought 3 skeins, but I have a pretty high undercut, 4 should be enough I'd imagine. it does depend on how long you want them. .5 is thicker than 1-0. Yeah, just normal elatic bands.

I used 3 or 4 strand per braid.

PLEASE post pics when you've done it, I need more photos to show me I have to do it again!

I've used Colinette Point 5 a few times. I used them as DE's and put elastic bands as I normally do with synth.

2 packs of point5 used here:

Wow they look amazing too!!! Thankyou for your reply - so you used just one piece of point 5 per braid but looped it round at the top to make them double and then braided in and secured with band?

Can you give me any maintenance tips as you cant wash these can you?
How long do you keep yours in for

Thanks thats been a help to see the number of packs needed forthe diffrent lengths

They look stunning :)

Thanks Saspiee also for your reply it has been very useful - I also tried your tut on roving in w-machine they came out brill gonna try some fluffy roving next maybe cool setting less powder :)
