(If somewhere already mentions this please say so - I searched but couldn't find anything on how to soften roving ones)
I've made a bunch of DE roving dreads (my first time) and they are all really stiff. I had read that if I installed them they would soften up over time, but I want to make them into falls and there's no way they will 'fall' at the moment. They are short too, 60cm total length.
Any ideas for softening them would be much appreciated

Try chucking them into a bucket filled with extremely hot water and some fabric softener or even creamy body wash of something, give them a swish around and let them soak for a few minutes then take them out and give them a good stretching and a rinse, I find this helps when I've overcooked some, hope this helps!

Thanks for the ideas guys!
I will give them both a go and see what happens. I really want to wear them on Friday (for The Big Day Out) so I'm hoping a full out assualt on them will be the answer
Cheers again!

Argh >< I did the soaking thing but they must be mega tight cause nothing happened
I guess I'm just going to have to be patient with the stiff ones and sleep on them etc til they loosen up.. I have some that hang right so maybe can wear some still.
Oh I will do if I can find one! I haven't been in ages, nothing good's been on. But Rammstein OMG
