Re: Twists??
Take two strands of hair
Twist each strand in one direction
Then twist the strands together in the opposite direction

Re: Twists??
Or get one of these! The Conair QUICK BRAID.
They're quite cheap (if they still make them!)
I got one years ago, but I hardly use it... But if anyone requests twist falls... I shall!

Re: Twists??
what they said!
It is easy, just make sure you twist the hair tight. I like to overtwist when 'braiding' together so it is really tight, it will untwist a little when you let go but it will settle into a nice shape
Those twisty braid machines are wuite hard to get hold of now- ebay is your best bet!

I have one of those twisty machines, they work wonders. All you'll need is a braid sealer so that you don't get that lion tail effect

I don't know where you're located but if you're in the US and near a Big Lots store, and interested in the Conair Quick Braid rivetlicker posted a pic of - you might want to check at Big Lots. I picked mine up there a few weeks ago for $6. It really is the best thing for twists - that and a braid sealer, like ANNloses said. You can make tons in a very short amount of time. I <3 my Quick Braid.

Wow! $6??? Cheap!
Mum bought me mine on special for like $20... And his was 6 years ago!
Someone almost threw it out when I found it in the trash pile outside awaiting collection
Lucky I rescued it!

Re: Twists??
I've just seen this one... http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/store ... s|10198270
On the argos website, do any of you think it'd be any good?
Also, I'm thinking they're gonna be pretty much 100% useless if you're wanting to do twisty extensions amirite?

Re: Twists??
I don't have any experience with that exact one, but the braiders with 2 prongs instead of 3 usually work better, so its probably goodLizSherman wrote:I've just seen this one... http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/store ... s|10198270

I've used them for extensions before, but only for a few accents. I did a 3-way braid for an inch or so at the top and then I changed the three strands into just two and used the twister from there. It worked okay, though if you do them by hand, they do come out a little more neat and tight.
