Hi I am on the search for the hot tools braid sealer.
Everywhere I have searched online appears to be a deadend. They are definitely not sold in my country (New Zealand). Please any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance

They are getting very hard to find. I used to sell them - I still have one or two and love them.
Keep checking ebay. You never know when one might turn up!!
Good luck!!

Why are these hard to find nowadays? Were they stopped being produced?

Re: Hot Tools Braid Sealer
They haven't been actively produced for probably 15 years or so.
Helen of Troy decided they weren't a big seller so they discontinued production.
They typically make flat irons and curling irons - so these were quite specialized in comparison. I haven't seen anything produced that would yield similar results. If you flame seal, you'll get blackened ends - and on blondes and lighter colors, it looks pretty obvious. Carefully using a flat iron is about as close as you'll get to braid sealer results.
