Synthetic/pp hair in COLORS

Post by earthymamawitch » Fri Jul 01, 2011 12:48 pm

I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of PP hair that comes in awesome colors besides just the basics. I have tons of a decent light to medium purple, and black already. I specifically need a shade like BNG's dark purple, and something like Afrocare's Orchid or Shapeshifter's Grape Soda that's a purple black, or like Dreadviolet's 1B/purple blend, but in PP. I know I can use KK if there's no alternative, it's just that the ends won't seal for t hat like for PP so I'd rather not if I can avoid it. Thanks!

Jenn

Are you getting confused between kk and PP?

PP is the higher heat resistance fibre that is usually hard to seal, but that comes in loads of cool colours.
KK is the lower heat resistance fibre that is usually easy to seal, but only comes in basic colours and some blends.

Manufacturers apparently cant dye the kk some of the pp colours because of the heat resistance and the dying process involving heat.

Sorry that isnt much help.

No no no. I don't mean seal for dread making. I mean seal as in - melting the ends with a lighter/braid sealer etc to make the shoe lace tips for braids. KK is kanekalon yes? the one you use to make dreads? I'm looking for straight up synth hair that melts.
