80s hawk ..and my last set of dreads.

Okay, first up is the last set of dreads I wore - purple and turquoise woollies, with some accent flowery crocheted woolly dreads from the lovely Liz Manchester (aka ScarletLady)
Up-do..
..and here's the hawk
Well, not a proper hawk - it's not as high as it could've been cos I didn't want to go too ott - this was for a friend's 80s birthday 'do.. just wish I'd got photos of the hubby as well, as he looked amazing.. proper 80s New Romantic.
The fringe has faded to a lighter purple cos it was washed while I had my last set of dreads in, whereas the rest of my hair was braided round the dreads, so couldn't be washed.. hence the strange fadey effect.

Yes, I know.. it's rather Flock of Seagulls, isn't it!
Mahoosive bouffant! Took a LOT of hairspray, I tell ye!

This was a mix of sfx pimpin purple and directions neon blue, but my hair was already a faded out blend of various mixtures of directions lilac, lavender and violet.
