I think I want to find another more purpley purple, but this is still very pretty, my mom LOVES it,lol I used Manic Panic's Ultra Violet, cause thats all Spencers had that was "purple" lol
so opinions? and anyone got any better purple dye for cheap? I dont have much to spend! lol

When I used Ultra Violet on platinum hair, it appeared blue. :/

I love it!!! I find purples fade too quickly, a few weeks back I put Directions Violet in my hair - came out what I like to call "Cadbury" purple - really rich, royal purple. WIthin a few days it had started to go lilac and now it's pretty much white! lol

the ultra violet does look lovely on you. if you want, i can pick you up some purple haze (the one in my myspace that you commented on). its a bit pricier though since i have to get it somewhere other than sallys. it runs $12. PM me if you would like me to.

The best purple I've found that's really really purple is SFX Deep Purple, but it's a bit pricey and notoriously hard to find. Lasts forever though, it's my favorite.
Punky Color is just as good a dye as Manic Panic, and it often much cheaper. The plum is a nice rich purple, the violet is pretty blue and the purple is really pink. I recently found a site that had Punky Color for really cheap, but I didn't bookmark the page!
I'll have to go looking for it again and let you know.
