I get fed up of upkeep so much with blue hair. It's so pretty but pisses me off greatly. I decided last night to black some of the blue, I couldn't get rid of all the blue as that would make me so very sad. I sectioned it so that there was still blue hiding under some black

It also means less bleaching & annoyance with different shaded roots. I'm also surprised at the length of the "black" of my hair, it wasn't so long ago that it was a mm long!!

Ohhh I like the mix of the 2 colours! The black looks lke a really dark blue, midnight blue maybe?! Haha.. they go well together.. Can see what you mean about the lighter roots though! Hopefully this is easier to upkeep

It's raven black, I couldn't find the blue black I wanted without having to go into town. it may have a blue hue as it's over blue hair

oh, i dig this so much! I love black with other colors. I have been tempted to go harlequin with orange and black lately, but also vowed never to go black again and am trying to stick with it. right now though, i am envious you can't seem to go wrong with black + any cool color

I think the color combo looks fab on you. I did mine Manic Panic midnight black awhile ago on hair bleached to a mid level blonde and got a VERY dark deep lovely blue. Looked black in room light but intense dark sky blue in daylight.

It is quite a relief not to have to constantly touch up the your roots.

2 years in the longest I've managed to not dye it black & it was a ridiculously cheap colour tint. but yes, I do feel better now that it isn't my entire head screaming your roots are a different colour. Silly dye I never had this issue before I had Korben.

I went through the exact same thing lol!
vowed never to dye it black again.. then got fed up and did it with a bit left out of my fringe.
Now I'm going to bleach it all out again because I'm bored of it haha!
It's a vicious cycle
