Before each semester I always decorate a notebook cover for myself. They've been getting successively more and elaborate as time has gone on! This one is a white canvas background with my 3 fav hand made stencils painted on, then layers of paint to look "worn," then 2 kinds of tulle netting, then a bit of wool, a little brown glitter, and finally shiny red "blood." My calculator I covered with scrapbook paper, varnished, and superglued scrapbook stickers to it.

Beautiful. My daughter does this kind of thing to her stuff too; she has a scrap book that shemade to commemorate her time at college that I can easily see being pawed over in many years by future generations. Love your book.
What, that? It's a spade.
