Crochet flowers
I finally cracked crochet patterns
I'm really pleased as I've been trying to et my head round flowers for days...now the world is my crocheted oyster as far as lovely girly baby things is concerned
First, some more granny squares - these are much neater
Here's a close up of the flowers

Re: Crochet flowers
I love making crochet flowers. I did not understand them at first! But once I cracked it they are the easiest and my most favouritist thing to crochet. I am currently working up the guts to sew 50 crochet squares together for a blanket for my friend. This is indeed my least favourite thing about crochet!

Re: Crochet flowers
Now I've got my head round them they are really easy! I was just having trouble reading the patterns so had to cross reference with loads of other sites to understand what they were telling me to do

Re: Crochet flowers
I think you should make more with the black outline & have that as the blankie with other coloured flower bits with the yellow centre. I'll purchase & donate the wool to you

Re: Crochet flowers
I was going to do that I think. The squares are going to be a blanket. I've made a load of pastel coloured merino ones but that will be a separate blanket as the colours and fibres won't match (The ones in this show off are acrylic).DreadstarMonstar wrote:I think you should make more with the black outline & have that as the blankie with other coloured flower bits with the yellow centre. Thanks everyone, I love the colour scheme as well
