I dont know how her hair got like that to be honest =P my mum got it braided and then tied it and left the rest unbraided. the un-braided bit (the dread-ish part) wasnt brushed or combed or taken care of at all, which is how the soft silky un-braided ends turend into dreads. it cant be combed now, only tied up, which is how it got its culry look too.

Are the ends of the braids tied with weaving thread, or did you mom just use the hair itself to tie them?

That's really pretty! is she allowed to wear them to school? (I noticed she was wearing what I thought was her uniform )I wish my school had let my wear my hair like that ^.^ I really love the mixture of browns and blondes ^.^ and how they go all curly towards the ends.
