a few of my VERY FIRST FALLS ...ahh i need help
Okay so I've been making cyberlocks for a year and they are turning out really well, but I am having a lot of trouble with the dread falls, (ahhh i'm a noob) I've read several tutorials and feel like the best way is to just figure it out myself, but it would be helpful if you lovley ladies had some tips.
I think there is something seriously wrong with my backcombing, my dreads never really look like dreads they just kind of look like clumps of hair (ahhhh!) and I was just wondering on some suggestions for what to use to back comb, I am currently just using a fine toothed comb, and it is (obviously) not working well
and this is my first fringe, human hair
i'm trying to make v cut, but i keep messing it up! (ugggh)
Anyway i would just like to know what you think, you can start off by telling me what you think i am doing wrong it would be very helpful!

A pet brush (the kind with small metal bristles) or a backcombing brush! I've used both and they work really well! But I find the pet brush works better for extreme volume...although you can get some great knots goin' on with the backcombing brush, too!

yeah backcomb, I use a flea and tick comb for pets but make sure you find a really sturdy one, cheap ones break the tongs off in your hair BLAH! i also agree that a backcombing comb from like Sallys for what $2.00 not even they are great too!

I personally think the back combing is fine, they just need to be sealed better. and twisted more perhaps?
