Critique me please :) Natural look dreads

Okay I got really bored - and wanted to try my hand at making natural looking dreads.

I like the crinkly texture. I bet they're nice and light. did you palm roll these at all?

I did it doesn't look like it which is frustrating. They feel really light - I'm going to install these with some brown ones I'm doing

I really like the texture as well but I'm not too keen on the ends. I'd like to see them installed though.

I'll try and get them in asap

I'm not sure what to do with the ends - as some of the hair was quite difficult to backcomb and it was tough to seal when I got it before

I wonder if they will hold up... How stiff are they?

If you have a heat setting on your straighteners, set it to the lowest setting and straighten the ends this is what I do and it turns out quite nicely so its not all frizzy

They aren't stiff at all - in fact they are very "floppy"

Love them, how did you do to get that crinkly texture? I'm planning to make a natural set for myself soon, and I would love to have some that look like this

I braided them together before sticking them into the washing machine

I have done that once, but I dipped them in boiling water, and they got really ultra wavy, but I will definitely try this method the next time! Thanks ^_^
